Day 3- Paris

Today started out with a somewhat rainy tour of the Marais district.  I've never been there before, and it was amazing, of course.

Church of St. Genevieve

Lunch was across from the Hotel de Ville.  I was pleeasantly surprised, the whole way through the trip, how great the service was and how kind everyone was, in every restaurant.  The waitress in this restaurant even joked with one of the students when she made a last minute request.  Some of the kids tried snails, sadly, I'm not brave enough yet.

We had a quest to get Jayla the best macarons in Paris.  Or at least in the Marais :)

After lunch, another walk through Paris, then a Bateau Mouche ride down the Seine.  And a nap for a lot of tired travelers.

Afterwards, we managed to squeeze in a quick visit to the Eiffel tower.  We couldn't go all the way up, the line for the elevator was 45 minutes.  But we decided to take the stairs.  I actually thought my last moments might be spent huffing and puffing on the stairs to the first deck.  But I made it.

After a slightly embarrasing metro ride, dinner was in Montparnasse.
